Ronald van den Hoff


Ronald van den Hoff studied at the Hotelschool The Hague and is self employed since 1985. Before that he covered several management positions in the travelbranch and international hotelery.

Presently Van den Hoff is, next to horeca entrepreneur, above all internet entrepeneur and enthusiastic trendwatcher. Next to his activities within CDEF Holding BV, Van den Hoff advises(international) chains of hotels and other service oriented companies aimed at E-commerce, E-communication, innovation and organisational renewing. He publicizes columns in ElseviersMisset Horeca, Kluwers Accokrant and is blogger on several leading platforms, including MINDZ and Kluwer's Molblog.

At last, he's a frequent lecturer at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Hotelschool The Hague and other institutions. Van den Hoff is a much invited lecturer at congresses, private trendsessions and thinktanks. His favorite subjects are trendslation, innovation, the value chain, the conception Blue Ocean, WEB2.0, the social media, Geo Branding and the Corporate Story Model.

Van den Hoff is managerially active within Koninklijk Horeca Nederland, within the Hotellotop foundation, is member of the branch advisory body of Tempo Team and chairman of the board of the "Copyright & new media foundation"
