Mariëlle Sijgers studied at the
Hotelschool The Hague from 1991 to 1995. During her study her internship took place at
Meeting Plaza Maarssen. Mariëlle was immediately touched by the visionary entrepreneurship within this company.
For her management internship Mariëlle, as enthitesis, deliberately chose for the large, international operating organisation ‘
Hilton International’. From 1995 she covered several different commercial positions within the management team.
In 2001 Mariëlle took the plunge into entrepreneurship, at first with
Ronald van den Hoff starting the internet communication company
Cyberdigma BV. Since 2002 she participates in
CDEF Holding BV and is involved in running several daughter companies.
Next to commercial activities, Mariëlle is engaged in strategic growth of the organisation, financiels (e.g. cash-flow management) and developing new concepts, like meeting labels
Seats2meet.com and
MINDZ.com. She is (managerially) active within several networks, among which
Great Place To Live, a collaboration of 70 meeting- and congress accomodations in the province of Utrecht and the
Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association.
